Re: When to stop raising iodine?

Well, I will keep an eye for my sweet spot. ;)

When I took 17 mg Iodine for the loading test (should have taken 50), I got extremely thirsty, my brain got extremely foggy and my short term memory was virtually nil. That was the first Iodine I had ever touched apart from iodised table salt that I ate up till 2010.

Since then the detox has been mainly tiredness but that I was before so it's hard to tell what's what. There have been heart palpitations and some nausea and diarrhea although I think the latter was caused by uneven distribution of salt in my water (didn't mix it properly).

I, too, have had hypothyroidism and an rT3 dominance. Since having been on Iodine I haven't needed any thyroid medication. I feel completely warm.
