My dentist did one more 3D x-ray to figure out where is the nerve and how close it to the infection. Doc said its in the "usual" place and there is space between abscess and nerve...
but doc is not sure 100% that there is enough space to be able to clean out all infection from the socket without touching the nerve, so she advises Antibiotics after tooth extraction.
So maybe its lack of doc's experience? thats why she is not sure of her abilities to extract without touching the nerve...or its real hidden danger with wisdom teeth?
