Re: Comparing Riboceine to N-Acetyl Cysteine for increasing glutathione levels

With all due respect Mr. Isaacs, I believe you aren’t comparing apples to apples.

First, the Max “sales hype” as you call it does not state that MaxOne is 300% more effective than NAC. What it states is that MaxOne was shown to to be 300% more effective. It also was shown that 8000 mg of NAC was 80% more effective in raising one's Glutathione level.

Second, the patented ingredient in MaxOne is Riboceine, which cannot be directly compared to NAC…two distinct different things. It’s an incorrect assumption that 125mg of Riboceine is equivalent to 375 mg of NAC. You need to dig a bit deeper.

What the studies found was that someone taking 8000 mg of NAC was 80% more effective compared with MaxOne's dose which is almost 300% effective.

Assuming that one could increase the amount of NAC to get the level of effectiveness up to 300%, then someone would need to take about 28,000 mg/day of NAC to equal MaxOne’s daily dose of 250mg. Calculating, then 1 mg of Riboceine = 112 mg of NAC. So 125 mg of Riboceine would be equivalent to 14,000mg and not as the 375mg as you state.

The product you are taking is 600 mg so again, you would need 28,000mg each day to achieve the same 300% effectiveness. Therefore, you would need to take 47 capsules of your product to equal a daily dose of MaxOne. This results in a daily cost of $7.35 or about $220 a month.

So not only would you save a considerable amount of money, you’d only have to take 2 pills a day rather than 47.

Regards
