I went on a triple therapy about 5 yrs ago and cleared my hcv1b. it was clinical trial in nyc. cornell. I prayed a lot,no alcohol since diagnosis in 2007 when stopped drugs,started meetings,aa/na became spiritual, yoga, meditated . was initially turned down for treatment . was a non-placebo trial from pharmasset labs. interferon/ribo and 7977. 12 weeks, but was cleared in 4 wks. continued till done but was having lotta health issued for a year after, had to take supplements and herbs . plus found out had parasites later ,which probably had most of my life, prior to using. maybe was reason for using, undiagnosed symptoms etc. but hcv still unddetected 5 yrs later.
