Some people can, some people can't. I would love to, but I'm too toxic. There are too many success stories and NO stories of real damage done by supplementing Iodine that I have ever read, except in people who were stupid enough not to have their thyroid levels checked frequently while supplementing. Better safe than sorry is my philosophy. I know Iodine makes me feel better, but I also know I have a goiter, so I have my levels checked when I need to.
Common sense is the key to supplementing with anything. Most people who have bad experiences with any supplement did not use common sense.
