IF is a way of life. It's not for everybody. It helps if you are keto-adapted first before you go into it. Many ppl never reach this stage. Fasting heals the body, it extends life, it can stop many diseases if used properly. Fasting got a bad rep because of the ppl who jump on the stupid crash diets and since the food/supplement industry wage war against catabolism which is stupid but hey ppl have to make money. IF can be a great tool for weight loss you just have to know what you are doing with it and take time to adjust to it. Many ppl don't... And that's the problem. Fasting alone can boost AMPK, HGH, start autophagy benefits, make insulin/leptin/mTOR more sensitive to name few. The body must have a balance I agree but that means catabolism/fasting as well.
