I went through a spell where I felt quite cold and sluggish. I thought I was having hypothyroid symptoms as the result of lower temperatures when summer ended. But I got to thinking of how hypoglycemia is so often due to adrenal weakness, which, of course, can impact the thyroid gland too.
Nothing helps adrenals like mega doses of Vitamin C so I started taking 1000 mg of C several times a day. The coldness has gone away and I can even run around barefoot again w/o feeling too cold.

I combine both powdered ascorbate C and powdered sodium ascorbate C as the first can make you too acidic and the 2nd can make you too alkaline. I use urine checking with ph papers to make sure I get the right balance.
