Hi Johng :-),

Thank you for clarifying your post :-). I really appreciate it; Yes I know what you mean about "how could such a low-cost item.., etc.", but that's the beauty of a FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) design. It's a modular programmable chip which makes it possible for functions which were previously hardware-intensive to be programmed into a single chip, instead of stringing loads of different integrated circuits together.

The development of the FPGA is what made that unit possible. BTW it's also light as a feather, which makes it extremely portable. I love that- it will be very easy to travel with.

I am grateful that we have the technology these days to design and make accurate devices which don't weigh a ton, don't drift, don't generate a gazillion degrees F of heat, and could be carried inside a briefcase :-). It surely wasn't that way when Rife was working..

BTW, could you post a link to the SC-1A you mentioned in your post? IMHO Scalar Energy is great :-)!
