veterinary pyrantel

I got my horse meds all lined up - pyrantel pamoate, equimax, and 100mg tablets of vermazol (mebendzole)

The pyrantel is 1.8g per tablet. I'm going to cut it in half and do one each night.

Starting with the pyrantel because it is supposedly the least toxic. And I'm getting some sort of induced hemorrhoids every time I take certain anti- parasite herbs and foods like cocoa powder, figs, chinese herbs, and cayenne. Strangely though raw garlic does not cause the bleeding.

Should the pyrantel be chewed or taken whole?
