I agree with this statement. Words from the Lord spoken through people are not to be new revelation outside of the Bible. If it is then, of course, we know it is not of God. This is how many cults start.

You are really twisting what this gift of the Spirit really is.

Did you even listen to the message from the Lord that I posted in the original post? There was nothing in it that conflicted with the Bible. It was meant to encourage a hurting person in the Lord. I thought someone needed to hear it so I posted it. Now it has turned into mud slinging instead.

What does God think of this?

Haven't you ever heard God speak directly to you in a very clear voice? He speaks to our spirit which is as clear as an audible voice, but is not an audible voice. Do you also believe that Christians should reject these words too? Tweet
