Re: Collagen intake to heal arteries and offset cholesterol?
It is very important to know what the cholesterol is from; what we are doing wrong, what we eat that we shouldn't. The cholesterol numbers are currently set up too low as well; they don't reflect the healthy levels.
If the body makes cholesterol it's only because our bodies need it. If we don't have anything to be fixed, the body will make less cholesterol. That means, that we need to look into what we eat, to stop eating processed food, bad fats, chemicals, MSG, aspartame, stop eating dairy/drinking milk if you don't have your own cow/goat ... our bodies know what is the best for them.
Jello is not the magic bullet. It's processed and probably laden with chemicals. There are other collagen rich foods that are not processed and have more benefits than jello.
Switch to wholefood clean diet, a lot of raw veggies and fruits, organic if possible, drink water instead of whatever drinks and you will see the difference; not only with cholesterol but with everything else.
