Re: Help! 21 years of Crohn's, 4 bowel resections, 3 fistula surgeries.

That's insane. This person is suffering from a tight stricture. Fruits vegetables and whole grains are gonna hurt him. He needs to rest the bowel for a day or 2 to allow what's stuck to pass. After, make your blender your best friend. Make some hearty chicken and vegetables soup and blend it before eating, no more stuck. Eat white bread and ice cream and cookies. Sounds weird but we all know the stuff gives us diareah wich is what he needs right now to allow things to pass through relive pain get some much needed calories. Do this for a couple weeks and the begin adding things. When we start feeling crappy we change our diets because we hear we need to eat healthy to make our selfsame better. It's my opinion tho that you need to go against that thinking to begin relieving strictures. Everytime something gets stuck in them they get worse and more swollen. Think about it.
