Help me understand what happened after Iodine supplementation
Hi all, I've been lightly supplementing with
Iodine for two years without much problems. I usually never take it above 25mg of KI.
A month ago, I think in the sequence of a few days, I took one or two drops every day and at the height perhaps three drops (drinking throughout the day in the same glass) and maybe had 60mg at most?
Yea my body did not like that.. I had a panic attack and wasn't sure if was related. I stopped
Iodine supplementation right away. I wasn't supplementing with selenium but was with Vit C... oops!
I felt a lot better.. but since then I've been having symptoms of hyperthyroidism like shaky palms, hair loss, lots of anxiety, poor sleeping, low appetite, losing weight...
Could this be related? I am taking selenium now...
So how can I stop these effects and reverse the situation? I feel so dumb! Thanks guys.
