I think you are probably right about low stomach acid, I have been trying to wean him from zantac but an struggling to get him off it, every time I stop it, he seems to get acid rebound and I have no idea how to get him off it. When I mention it to my g.p. she saids leave him on it ! NHS trained and does not believe in candida overgrowth of the gut but is happy to prescribe fluconazole as long as my private paediatrician tells her to. Also, my paediatrician has told my doctor to give him his flu jab as his immune system is faulty and he would be better to have that then catch the flu but I am worried because of the recent set back he has had and I have not been able to get rid of his thrush out break yet and it has been a few weeks and I think this is because his candida levels are still high in side of him. I have heard of Biolab but when I asked them the prices they would not tell me and my paediatrician would not refer me. I did look at Dr Charles Forsyth website when I saw him mentioned on Biolab but I have heard he is really expensive and I just cant afford that at the moment. Tweet
