Making money was never the intent as the only thing I knew about farming from the start that there was no way to profit from it.
The reason I decided to do this was to prepare land, implements and form some basic farming knowledge in order to have a viable means of creating food ahead of an economic collapse.
Right now I make plenty of paper dollars in the fake economy while it lasts. My mother, a German living in Frankfurt told me after the war there was no food in the market as the infastructure had all been destroyed. She would ride her bike a half day into the country to trade a farmer something of value for the privillage to dig through potato fields which had already been dug through to find a just a few to bring back. The farmers had the only viable currency that being food.
I see the same thing coming here soon and want to be in a position to help others as well as myself but I may run out of time first.
So far I've become an expert Ford8N Tractor mechanic spending most of the winter last year getting a broken down one running again and keeping it running. I've studied much of what Dr. Carey Reams wrote about agriculture but the more I learn the more I see that I have yet to figure out. Tweet
