But this is it. Things dont get messed around with. What I order is very legal to come into Australia. Some one advertises herbs or similair, I order it, pay for it,and it arrives. Half the time the contents are checked as the package is xrayed , opened for verification to correspond with the documentation. If it is organic or food products the xray shows it. It is checked. As long as it is not seed for regrowing or contaminated food from from a country suspected of eg; bird flu or .....foot and mouth,or........ a country which has problems of contaminated food of such there is no problem. Some foods that have contaminates, viruses, bugs that could severly damage the products that we grow or export are destroyed. That goes for Britain, USA, Australia,or New Zealand. All herbs I have ever ordered from overseas, and ALL have been from America, have never been a problem.If I travel and arrive back here in Australia with a suit case full of food or such, as long as I declare it on the arrival declaration, they will simply check the contents in customs and allow only what is allowed in.
