UNEQUAL JUSTICE IN FLORIDA

George Zimmerman shoots and kills Trayvon Martin, during an unneccessary confrontation, as a self appointed "neighborhood watchman."

James Schaller, MD,intervened in an urgent and timely manner, during an actual assault and battery, preventing further injuries and stopping an actual physical assault, without injuring anyone.

James Schaller, a Good Samaritan, is convicted of a felony, while Zimmerman is acquitted. In retrospect, Dr. Schaller should have chosen a jury trial, in the zany state of Florida, which can not even accurately count votes, in state or federal elections.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schaller and am personally acquainted with him. While his services are expensive, they are far more helpful and effective, than the HMO/insurance Physicians, who will not order testing adequate to find the problem, let alone treat the problem. I was misdiagnosed by two family doctors who insisted I could not be hyperthyroid, despite, weighing only 125 pounds, at a height of 5 ft, 10 1/2 inches. My T4 thyroid hormone was above normal limits. A Kaiser Physician failed to order any testing or ask any additional questions, when I asked about the disabling tendonitis and numerous petechiae, which had appeared on my skin, after a cat bite. Dr. Schaller ordered numerous tests and correctly diagnosed me with Bartonellosis.

I have also seen disturbing instances of rats in locked pschiatric units in Florida, when I worked as a Mental Health Worker, in a public facility. Entry level staff actually had to ask patients to call the Abuse Hotline, when the unit supervisor failed to act to remedy the rat infestation.

I am not surprised to read that the jail Dr. Schaller was held in was infested with rats. Tweet
