Glad youve found the cause for your AF. I'm also sure there is an "inherited" part from our parents. But not in a "genetically" way. I would also consider feo environmental influences but extending them more. And the stress factor the same expanding it more.
I found the same situation in my family as in yours (I mean I share same AF tyroid symptoms with them) and after taking in consideration the stressful life I discovered that in fact we share the same infections for years or exposure to...(living togheter several years). That is chronic ones that made us wired and anxious and everything else all the time...
We were never thought that these could make our adrenals or tyroid weak but here we are...I'm not saying real stress is not part of the problem but environmental - in the large sense - plays also a main role.
I was "playing" the stress and genetic game for several years with no success but in my case pathogens were playing a big role since I was a kid...and of course the already known SAD like diet...not know or did not want to accept that...
