Re: What are typical ketone levels during an extended fast?

Thanks for your cautionary advice, Chrisb1. My goal now is not to lose weight (109 now) but to cure symptoms of peripheral neuropathy. At Day 22 today, only modest improvement seen for this chronic ailment. I am monitoring my blood pressure (100), pulse (60), urine pH (5.5), ketones (40 mg/dL) and other reagent strip parameters. A comprehensive metabolic panel report is due back today to verify potassium. I have no interest in eating food yet. Feel all right. If conditions change I will end the fast early and rebuild strength slowly. Thanks again. Glad to hear from you.
