Re: Dr Wilsons Hidden Articles - Disturbing
Very true Dave, it is very important to determine whether the person one is entrusting their health to has the knowledge and sound mindedness to handle one's situation. I believe that is the point Mikey is trying to make. Paul Eck was undoubtably a brilliant man who know alot of things about the inner workings of the body.
Which brings me to my next point. Wilson was trained by Eck so yes, he is very knowledgeable and educated on the subject, but his incessant ramblings about politics, religion, and personal lifestyle choices (aside from anything having to do with nutrition and healing) are highly inappropriate and makes one really question whether or not they should trust their health to someone with such a perception of the world.
Feo- Mikey is not attacking NB. He is simply bringing to light the babblings of a clearly distorted man who many are entrusting their health to. I have had my own personal experience with Wilson- I worked with him on an NB program last year that landed me in the hospital due to the excessive
coffee enemas and saunas. Yes at the end of the day my own health was my responsibility but this was a person that I trusted to guide me properly. He then proceeded to accuse me of "doing it wrong" and called me "incomprehensive". After reading the articles that Mikey posted I have no doubt that had I been a man he probably would have responded differently to me because according to him "men have more sense".
I am also preparing to return to work myself in the very near future, and have gotten this far using no supplements, medications, and a diet that is practically opposite of NB. In half the time that NB supposedly takes to "start working". Not saying it doesn't work...I'm very happy for everyone that is seeing benefits from it. After all the point is that we all heal, no matter what we have to do to get there.
Personally I am glad to not be lining the pockets of a chauvanistic crackpot who claims that I'm going to get raped if I wear a bikini, and that I'd better find the right man to lead me because I've got no sense.
And about Natway...his approach was wrong, but getting upset over his claims that AF does not exist would mean that one would have doubt within themselves about the validity of the condition as well. Just as anyone getting upset over a person discrediting NB would also have doubt in their minds as to the effectiveness of the program themselves. When you truly believe in something, there is nothing in the world that can shake your faith or peace in the subject. You know what's right and it doesn't matter what anyone says- if you truly have no doubt about it.
And Natway was actually right about the whole calorie and metabolism thing. I'll give him that.
Just my two cents. Peace and Love and Healing to all...however you've got to get there! :)
