Re: vomiting after about two weeks off meat
The stuff coming out is just hardened impacted mucous. Just the typical things you read about, except for the fact that it never stops coming out.
I can make a good guess as to the dietary causes - milk and grains since that is what I mainly grew up eating, especially cereal. I have a good handle on what diet reverses it - whatever I eat now that causes the most stuff to come out is what I digest well. Certain cooked vegetables, legumes, kefir, some fruits, kefir, tea. Gluten was a major culprit.
I tried some of those colon cleanses many years ago with bentonite/psyllium/herbs etc. But the diet worked much more effectively. Psyllium would just constipate me and not cause any cleansing. The main thing that is doing the cleansing work is bacteria, as long as I stick to certain boundaries within current diet the cleansing never stops.
It was on my mind to try something like one of those bentonite cleanses again, but without the psyllium so see if I could coax some of those ropes to come out of the colon. I did pass a lot of those ropey/parasite/mucoid ropes on my own over the years just by sticking to my diet. But the vast majority of stuff that comes out is just impacted/hardened type stool. Every time I pass this stuff I have a chemical/metallic burning sensation in my sinuses/tongue/throat (maybe lungs too) which goes away it comes out of me. Then it starts up again a few hours later, and it's been going on for decades now.
There are certain foods I have narrowed down that I digest well, but when I eat these I have to make sure to eat them with a lot of fat to make sure that it can travel all the way through the digestive tract, otherwise I get into trouble.
I've been able to slightly reduce the amounts of fat by swapping warm liquids and kefir. But there is a certain amount of lubrication I need to keep things moving that only fats seem to be able to accomplish.
