R-Lipoic acid is as in organic chemistry, the enatanomier or the active chiral molecule, the ALA is cut with not just R-lipoic and is not considered as effective, or even counter effective.

20 to 40 charcoal tabs. Charcoal is very effective binder for metals esp if they are already floating in the GI and blood, i.e, from chelation. Charcoal is standard detox for OD's etc. So it will definitely help with the symptoms.
