I used to have this really bad to.   My calves would cramp really bad when I stretched in the morning.   I haven't had that for about 1-yr.   
 
I still use magnesium oil.  I have for about 3-yrs.  But that alone didn't seem to solve it for me.  It just seemed to go away as part of the NB program.
 
It might  come from biounavailable calcium.  You can end up with symptoms of both calcium deficiency AND excess calcium.  
 
Basically, calcium is deposited in places like joints.....but your musles may be calcium deficient.   My wife had this very bad.   She has signs of calcium deposits....but also deficiency symptoms.  She has sky high calcium in her hai analysis.
