Re: Update
Back on topic guys...
I think the lips do not absorb things as naturally as the skin on the body does. If you take a baby's mouth for example, it is always glossy, as if the saliva runs right off the inner mucosa, vermilion border. With the hyaluronidase treatment you have the following:
Hydrocortisone - inflammation retardant
Neomycin - a strong
Antibiotic that is also used in Neosporin
Hyaluronidase - turns off fibroblasts, possibly acts as a means of safeguarding the other compounds and allowing them to penetrate certain membranes or tissues.
If you guys read the article as thoroughly as I did, you will see that some of those patients actually had their conditions for years. One patient had his lower lip so deformed that he could pass as an extra zombie in Night Of The Living Dead.
The hyaluronidase treatment has a lot of promise only because it has the evidence to really back it up. Also, I don't think that they had photoshop back in those days so this won't be another Calendula hoax like some folks (myself included) fell for. Even though I truly love the Calendula Ointment for other things.
If this does work then you guys should seriously give longterm a sh!t load of praise because he has been posting nothing but interesting articles providing serious food for thought. I for one like his scientific/hypothetical ways of thinking in regards to this condition.
The more we speculate about EC then the greater amount of information we will discover.
