Pain in your throat could have to do with the thyroid, muscles in your neck, vertebrae in your neck... Hmm... I believe the chakra that corresponds with that area also includes the hypothalamus.

Anyhow, my voice was definitely affected when I started having neck issues and it felt like laryngitis.
