I want to add that's its important to go slow when adding the pituitary/ hypothalamus glandulars b/c you don't want to overstimulate the rest of your endocrine system (ie. beat a dead horse). You probably want to make sure your adrenals are well supported first, then add the Pt/hpt, then once all that seems good, if you happen to be low thyroid add that glandular. Or, it might mean that you increase each glandular very slowly in small increments and look for symptoms of under functioning in any other glands that correspond with it. Unfortunately, it's trial and error. What I would really like to find is a book with detailed descriptions of all of the endocrine glands and what they do. It took me four months to figure out that I was wasting potassium, and in the time period I did enough damage to send my poor self to bed for a year. Granted, I have a structural irregularity w my spine, that made it more susceptible to falling apart, but still. I had never heard of any of this. I couldn't have imagined that I would stop wasting salt w one drop of ACE and start wasting potassium so excessively.
