My standard advice, from my own personal experience, is to try out 3 specific supplements and see if you react to them, so as to at least rule out the type of candida that I have. The first supplement is grapefruit seed extract, which is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial. The second one is caprylic acid, which is a very powerful antifungal. And the third is the Vitamin Shoppe's "Ultimate 10" multi-strain probiotic. This will replenish your gut with good bacteria.

It's important to test out these supplements in the order I mentioned. The antifungals will weaken the candida enough that the probiotics can colonize your gut effectively. You may not have my type of candida, but if you do, you will feel a powerful positive reaction to the grapefruit seed extract. If it has no effect, feel free to discontinue it.
