Re: Ivermectin used as a cream and/or shampoo?
I have read about tea tree before and bought some quite awhile back, but for a different reason. I ended up making up my own routine per se which seems to be working.
I bought some shampoo that has both neem oil and tea tree oil in it. I am using that every night in the shower making sure to also lather my face when doing my hair. Also, before bed I am using a basic lotion with a few drops of pure neem, tea tree, and seabuckthorn oil mixed in. I just put the mix on my problem areas (for me this is the cheeks and forehead).
I have been doing this for a few days now and so far the results have been great. The nighttime itching/crawling seems to be less or non-existent and today I even noticed some of the redness going away. Bumps, scabs, etc are disappearing and almost completely gone already. I will be really happy if the redness goes away as the red color came the same time as all the other problems. I have always been told that was just rosacea, but now I am wondering if it was just mites.
