Good insights. There is a definite back-and-forth effect. The way I think of it is the mind is only capable of what our physical brain/body allows. For instance, as our cerebral cortex's have evolved and developed, our minds are now more capable of higher functioning. I don't want it to seem like I am completely minimizing the physical. I agree I probably am a little too far to the other side but it's just because I feel like most people are completely looking at it as a physical thing and I am overcompensating for that a bit.
A lot of it may seem abstract when I talk about what's going on, but the actual recovery strategy I have is very much practical and physical. I'm convinced at this point, based on how long my recovery is taking, that understanding is essential to recovery in order for one to continue to persist (assuming I'm on the right track).
