The biggest question is how do we process stress and trauma? Many therapists think they know how to do this, but they don't..

I wouldn't say our minds are turning against us at all. They are simply operating within the "rules" of our human body.

I don't believe ignorance is ever the best solution (but I get your point). Increased knowledge brings us closer to healing.
