Re: 4 months post Mirena, hormone tests 'no further action required' but definitely something wrong with hormones! :-S
Thanks for your reply.
I have been on every sort of contraception since I started my periods at 13 years as I have reoccurring endometriosis. After having a Mirena removed in January 2013, I have been left with very bad episodes of depression, anxiety and panic attacks.
My hormones levels appear to be 'within range' but my symptoms are so hormonal! For example crying episodes during period as well as agonising period pain,
Depression and bloating. The
Depression and anxiety are the worst, it also surfaces around ovulation and stays with me until the end of my period.
After my blood test results one of my reading was high that shouldn't have been, my alanine amino transferase, which may indicate liver problems.
I want the old me back, the energy, the happiness. I am on a good diet from a naturopath, I take magnesium, B complex and fish oils.
What else can I do to stop the panic attacks,
Depression and anxiety ?
