the main reason i still take daily doses of just over or under a gram is because of exposure to radiation and halogens.

the Iodine docs have said it can take 3 months or three years to get completely iodinated. i think it can take longer than that. 7 years maybe, or more to get everything working properly in a high Iodine environment.

100mg is a number i calculated years ago now as a ballpark of the minimum for Iodine sufficiency and to combat bad halogens to lessen the detox felt.

every time i have done a course of very high iodine i have gained some benefits. i know someone right now who is up to 4 grams a day and getting amazing results.

the nice thing about iodine is if you dont need it, the body just lets it run right through. its up to the individual to determine how much is too much, mostly on the basis of how much is a waste of good iodine vs how much is getting put to good use.
