Re: For the raw food proponents and for the natural hygiene proponents
We almost all have parasites. Why some may die from it when others live until their nineties with no health issues whatsoever? Well it's all about what keeps them in check. This is a good immune system and a healthy digestive system. And this is mostly influenced by the foods we eat, the stress we get, and the drugs we take.
I've suffered massive
parasite infestation, worms of all kind, candida overgrowth, to the point I was dying (my health went downhill extremly fast after long courses of
Antibiotics ). Nuking them with powerful drugs or herbs never did the trick, they always developped quick resistance to them. I didn't stop getting worse until I went on a vegetable juice fast, along with many things that didn't target them specifically but strengthened my immune system, gut flora, and digestive/elimination organs. Then they started dying and getting out by hundreds.
So for me the answer is plain and simple: pathogens of any kind thrive in toxic, weakened, compromised, whatever you want to call it, bodies.
