Re: Kefir

Lalobear- Raw milk has not been heat treated and so all of the enzymes will be intact. If you can find a good clean producer of raw milk I would say this is the ideal. However my family were buying raw cow's milk but could not tolerate the cow dairy. Casein intolerance. We are now making kefir with pasteurized goat's milk which we are all able to tolerate.

We make a smoothie for our son almost everyday- It is thick almost like ice-cream.

1 frozen banana
Some frozen stawberries
2 eggs
full fat goats milk
1/2 cup goat milk kefir

He absolutely loves these and they aren't overly sweet. He is growing alot and needs the extra nutrition for sure.
