Re: Yeast overgrowth vs. Fungal candida infestation
Very sage advice from saywhatagain.
Most cases of yeast infection I see are not "full blown" CRC, (candida related complex), or systemic candidiasis, but in fact just a gut-related yeast overgrowth. Many folks simply have too much candida in their intestines, and yes -
Antibiotics is the # 1 cause by a long shot.
In some cases, all it takes is just that one dose of an
Antibiotic with some folks, in other cases it takes several doses. Interesting point most all folks are not aware of is the liberal use of
Antibiotics in the food chain, look at commercial poultry (chicken). This Wikipedia link may make you think twice about eating commercially available chicken if you have ANY digestive issues, you can read about the
Antibiotics and Roxarsone (arsenic) used in poultry food:

Yeast infection out of hand can certainly morph into its sinister mycelial form, but it does not always happen. Many folks end up with several different kinds of
parasites & bacteria, and I think that the effects of leaky gut syndrome, an increase in other pathogens, compromised immune/gut responses and various other altered gut mechanisms like poor enzyme levels always seem to get blamed on "candida", when in fact without a yeast culture or other intensive stool analysis it is all just a lot of guess work.
