I have short hair too. I've been using organic shea butter from Ghana & I buy it from here: http://onelovestarsheabutter.weebly.com/

The butter cream whipped kind is the best for applying to my hair.

I apply it directly to my scalp & it makes my hair so much softer than condtioner. So now I use organic shea butter & water on my hair & its awesome. The water I spray on my hair is mixed w/cocunut & tea tree oil.
