During detox, many of us have had to "pulse" iodine, IOW take a day or two OFF of iodine, so that the kidneys can keep up (or catch up) with detoxification.
The kidneys need salt to squeeze out the build-up of toxins.
It has me wondering if the kidneys work the same and needs the salt like a water-softener needs salt for the cleansing and backwashing of the filtration aspect...
I thought it was interesting, but don't know exactly how a water-softener works. I just know that withOUT salt, the toxic crap that enters the machine plugs it up, and you can pretty much tell when you're OUT of salt without even looking INTO the brine tank.
