Re: James: don't fall for the BS!!!!
Whats been your experience with both?
I had to stop doing the acid forms because it was irritating my gut too much. For some reason it seemed to be overstimulating my liver as well. The salt forms don't seem to give those issues. But I haven't tried the salt forms long enough to get a good evaluation.
For the short time I took undecenoic acid it did seem to work a little better than the salts, but its not worth the gut/liver aggravation. I remember Dr. Jeff stating that many of his clients received better results with the acid form than the salt form. It would be interesting what Dr. Baker's clients results have been with both forms.
The one aspect of the thorne product i don't quite understand is them adding HCl to it thinking that will make the product more effective. Seems like the hcl that they add to it would get nuetralized by bicarbonates in the duodenum. For some reason they think that the HCL will be slowly released throughout the gi tract. I don't know if i can exactly agreee with that.
Dr. Jeff is very knowlegable and helpful in answering questions. Comments made about his luxury are unnecessary.
