UPDATE: Mirena removed yesterday...my story

Well, it has been a month. I will say I had two days of bliss after my removal: I had NO left hip pain, my breathing was WAY better, and everything else that I had seemed much much better. On day three I woke up and my hip pain came back with a vengeance..and now a month later, it's excruciating. I am very frustrated. I too feel arthritic and old..my knees and joints hurt so stinking bad. And my headaches are back. Some days are worse than others for both hip pain and headaches. I don't know if it is in sync with my ovulation like other women have stated (just started getting my period back).
***On an extremely happy note, my breathing is back to normal about 98% of the time. I occasional feel a brush of 'hard to catch my breath' but minimal. I do not feel anxious anymore. Vision is back to before.
So honestly, all in all, most of my side effects have disappated since the removal. The only ones I am fighting are left hip/pelvic joint pain, headaches, and just general joint (knee) pain.
I talked to my chiropractor who does also naturopathic healing and I may start a detox through Metagentics to help with the hormonal imbalance and the inflammation. I will post later to keep you updated!
