Hello. Maybe you could try incorporating a more balanced meal approach for the hypoglycmia. I've been hypoglycemic since age 28 and am now 57.

Make each meal with these percentages.

40% protein
10% good fat
10% grain or starchier complex carb
Rest ( 40% ) non starchy vegetables, like broccolli,
green beans, zuccini. . . .

If you eat only mac and cheese for ameal, it turns straight to glucose, very quickly and will cause a quick
rise in blood Sugar and insulin surge than drop rather quickly, making you feel aweful. Take if from one who has dealt with this for 30 years.
ALwasy eat protein and high fiber and a little fat with any carb.

I hope it works, give it a try.
