Re: Liver flukes

Natway,

The news is very selective and does not report everything. however take a look at the inundation of people blogging about their parasites, and discussing them in forums such as these.

As for Asia, it is common for people endemic to those areas to deworm themselves, however due to some aspects of their culture in consuming fermented fish and raw crab, they have the highest rate of liver cancer, although their obesity rates remain low.

The US follows in its unprecedented rise in fatty liver disease and increasing rates of obesity, which is probably due to Our love of bacon, and pork products which carry parasites that trigger obesity.

parasites have a complex life cycle and it takes months for the mature parasites and their eggs to die. A pinworm can lay up to a million eggs per day. It is unfeasible or any person to be taking drugs for that entire time, therefore a lifestyle change is necessary if your health begins to deteriorate.

As for parasites in meat, they are there. If you consume the microscopic parasite eggs in steak, pork and fish, you will be infected, and most likely already have them.
