Re: Mayo Clinic

My practitioner is Doris Kutz Compton at New Haven Family Chiropractic. She worked closely with Dr. Janet Lang who has helped to pioneer 'restorative endocrinology'.

I did a saliva panel a long time ago, but I haven't done one recently. I was quite low in some of my neurotransmitters.

These are my numbers from my first test, about a year and a half ago:

Calcium: 66
Magnesium: 3
Sodium:3
Potassium: 1
Iron: 1.1
Copper: 0.9
Manganese: .207
Zinc: 15
Chromium: .047
Selenium: .069
Phosporus: 11

Toxic Metals:

Lead: .015
Cadmium: .001
Mercury: .011
Arsenic: .009
Aluminum: .038

Ratios:

Cal/Mg :22
Ca/K:66
Na/Mg:1
Na/K:3
Zn/Cu: 16.67
Ca/P: 6

So as you can see my adrenals were pretty exhausted. My adrenal ratio hasn't changed at all since then but I am feeling better. I can do far more than I used to be able to do. I think the toxic manganese was a lot for my body to deal with. It's now about twice what it should be, instead of four times. And my digestive ratio has improved. I still have issues but it's much better and it seems likely that I have a parasite issue which I am just starting to deal with.

It's very frustrating to be in bed all the time. Especially while we're so young! It took me a couple of months with her and I was able to drive myself short distances.

I hope you find some answers soon. I only spent about 3 months with conventional docs but I'm glad I did just to rule out some of the more serious things. I really believe my crash came from parasites. I spent three months with nausea, diarrhea, and occasional low grade fever. Not to mention the awful fatigue that I still have. I think I've had adrenal before that, but it kind of tipped me over the edge.

Don't give up! We'll get there!
