The salt and water is an interesting addition, thanks for sharing! I also made my own bed sheet out of the stretch conductive fabric from lessemf.com and I am happy with the results, very comfortable and low voltage reading. I have been experimenting with conductive pajamas as well to increase surface area, I use these mostly for camping mostly because my bed sheet seems to work just as well.
