Re: Holy Basil: Any Experience with this positive or negative?

Thanks. I find the valerian root more relaxing and better for sleep. NOt sure how great my liver is but my blood work per doctor says okay. I am doing cleansing of colon, parasites, and coffee enema's

I do notice the Holy Basil relaxes me but also makes me cold, and urinate alot which is not a good thing at night. SO I sometimes take it earlier in the day now.

Not sure any of these make a difference in the fatigue..Rhodiola, Astragalus, nor Holy Basil. The cleansing stuff I started 10 days ago made things worse. So I started with coffee enema's and sauna again to help my body out.

I have been on pharmacueticals for a long time over 12 years so I am sure I am sick. Also I have 9 fillings plus some composite ones.

The Holy Basil does not knock me out either.

The combo at night I take is:

Valerian Root 1000mg
10 mg melatonin
700mg of magnesium
500mg of taurine
500mg of ornithine
and
1mg of Klonopin

Otherwise I dont sleep. I have been on pharmaceutical meds for sleep so long my body does not do good with nothing. I was on the most potent stuff.

Last night I made the mistake of staying up too late and gave in and took an ambien which makes me feel worse today.


Not sure what to think of the Holy Basil. I am going to keep taking it for a few more weeks then give it a break. Not even sure what it is doing. I thought it was good for relaxation.
