peeling lips, candida 1st share

hi, iv had this condition for a few years, but has only got unbearably bad over last 6 months, i tried the leaving along method for a while but honestly couldnt deal with the embaresment with work ect. went to the doctors and was perscribed hydrocortizone cream which seems to slow it down but did not heal it. Iv done a candida test at home and at the doctors and they both came back positive, iv been referred to the dermatolagist and am waiting an appointment, was wondering if anybody knows if i get rid of candida overgrowth will that in result stop the exfoliative chelitis or are they two complete seperate things now?? and has anybody else got ec as a result of candid?? thanks
