Re: Mebendazole and Liver Damage

I have permanent liver issues (due to use of pharmaceutical over ten years ago) and have undergone a dosage of mebendazole (brand name Vermox). The only result was an urge to visit the bathroom, and the expulsion therein of parasites and/or eggs, of miniscule yet notable size.

You have to consider that while adhering to a pharmaceutical protocol for some time could indeed subject your liver to increased stress -- it is probably in small proportion compared to what it is already undergoing daily given your description of the extent of your grade of infestation.

Moreover given all your excellent photographic evidence, I would in fact consider seeing a representative from the medical establishment, not mentioning anything about "parasites" but letting them do the very simple and undeniable math.

If circumstances allow you could also consider going abroad to South Asia for a thourogh checkup and surgery, as in that region of the world this type of illness is both more common and treated.
