500mg l-tryptophan 3x a day..
500mg l-tyrosine- once a day.
This works for me.. i been through alot of supps.. finally got relief w this combo.
word of caution, i took 1,500mg tyrosine and it got me a little irritable and confused. so be cautious here. everyones different some may need more or less. but the tyrosine was one that i felt some undesireable effects from at higher level. i also errored w shifting the dosage up way to early on third day..
PS I also take fish oil and B complex.

So for a 1year or so I had some lower back pain, took all kinds of supplements trying to fix it... for some reason my body began handling stress very badly been likely due to very poor diet,stress, no time to workout due to constant working. and Lack of energy/ motivo, just in the dumps. whole body came tumbling down...
in my line of work, for hours on in, Im constantly standing... so my pain and stress it all seemed to goto my lower back, and would cause pain. including muscle spasms in day and evening and sleep, and eventually pulled the hip out of alignment which just caused more pain..
got into gym strengthened, took yoga 1x a week for a month for flexibility, corrected diet, correct pelvis with chiro and muscle strengthening.. still had the some low back pain and body was managing stress poorly..
recently added the combo and i think i may very well be pulling myself out this hole finally and feeling amazing!
Doc presecribed RX of anti D's tryed the prozac, tryed venlafaxine.. and we all have our reasons for not liking these things.... I knew something was up when i was taking them and my back seemed to ache less while on them.. but i refused to sacrifice my bodys natural health. and kept pressing on to find a natural solution..
finally found something that works for me.. after trying everything 5htp,st johns... vit d3,.. etcc...
