Re: Vitamin D "issues"

Wow this was very interesting. Thank you all so much for sharing. My daughter continues to struggle a year and a half post mirena removal. Her main symptoms continue to be life altering, she still suffers from extreme fatigue, brain fog, neuropathy pain and numbness and burning sensations in legs, arms, hands and feet, migraines, vision problems, sleep difficulty and anxiety. I am sure I am forgetting some others! Well I remembered her Doctor saying her vitamin d was low months ago but he never told her to take supplements or anything or told us the number. She does take multivitamins and magnesium daily and started taking d3 last week when I read this information. I also had her go back to the doctor to have another vitamin d test done again and her results showed vit d was only 22. The doctor felt that was 'significant' and prescribed 50,000 of vitamin d to take twice per week and is testing her again next month to check her levels. When I looked up the symptoms of vitamin d deficiency I was shocked. All her symptoms were listed. For those of you with low numbers that started supplements and got your vit d numbers up, did you feel better, and did any of your symptoms go away? Best of luck to you all and thanks for the information. Hailey
