I agree. If you feel like the medicine is going to target one of the parasites that you are concerned with then I would go ahead and take it.

For Tapeworms praziquantel works well. If you are treating some of the other species then other meds might be more suitable.

The ICU protocol looks good. You can search here and find it.

I wouldn't rely on your test results as something to diagnose what type of infection you have personally. I haven't heard or met one person that got diagnosed properly from a stool test. Not saying they aren't out there but I haven't come across a single person.

Knowing that, the other option would be to rule things out thru your symptoms and different medication treatments.

If you absolutely know what type of parasite you have then an western blot or elisa test should do the trick for that specific parasite. But, it is more money. And it's easier to just take the medicine in my opinion.
