I never was on Cortef, but I can say that Florinef was one of the worst experiences of my entire life. Marie would know better than me on this subject, but I have heard from many about the nasty side effects of HC- bone issues, worsened immune deficiencies, and atrophied adrenals. I know some people with Addison's absolutely need it, but that's pretty much for them to stay alive. No one ever says that they were doing jumping jacks while on it.

As far as the glandulars, they make me feel like I want to rip the skin off of my body so I stay away from them. From my experience, only those who are in very early stages of AF benefit from them.
